Show us a key.
I tend to adorn and accessorize the most mundane of tools. Here we see my mobile phone, a Sidekick 3, with Coach™ green leather tag and Tare Panda airplane watzit; my 1 gig Patriot memory stick with a Tare Panda on a Leaf; my IMAC 2007 (it's an aquarium conference in Chicago) + Phyto2™ Phytoplankton lanyard with my house and car keys, PetSmart™ and Petco™ tags, various color-changing seahorses and a cool leather pirate key chain thingie my friend gave me. Recently removed from the lanyard are the two Victorinox® Swiss Army knives I usually carry, a tiny pocket version with just a scissor, blade and nail file, and a larger multi-tool version my son gave me for Mother's Day when he was eight or nine. The lanyard was getting a bit unwieldy, and it's hard to use a pocket knife when it's attached to a set of keys with all kinds of doodads a-dangling.
Mail's in! What's this? LiveAquaria? It must be my SNAILS!!!!!
Here come the snails!
All the way from California!
Thanks, Frank from Adaptive Aquaculture and Dan from SeahorseSource.com!
The seahorse. duh. Although Cute Overload doesn't seem to think so. *weep*
Currently my favorite species is H. breviceps. Pics next week, if all goes well.
Life is too short not to spend every free sunny hour at the beach. Tomorrow, I'm heading to Madison to catch some sun, swim in the Sound, and meet my bud Steve for lunch. Sunday, I'm hoping to collect seagrass from the shore in Westerly, Rhode Island. The seagrass is for my temperate seahorse tank, of which I shall post interminably at a later date. Suffice to say it has consumed all my discretionary income and most of my free time since I started it.
